Doucecroft School

Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Residential schools, Schools

Doucecroft School services cater for pupils between 3 and 19 years old with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or Asperger syndrome. Pupils are educated in small class groups (6 pupils on average) in each. We offer flexible boarding packages not just weekly boarding, our fees reflect the costs of 1 to 1 support, other support levels are costed differently. The school provides a specialised service to meet the unique and complex needs of each pupil. This service is extended to the Further Education Department in Kelvedon which specifically caters for 16 to 19 years olds. The Department focuses on developing each student's potential by providing an individual and student-centred curriculum, incorporating appropriate practical activities. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Residential services offer up to 294 nights per year boarding including respite.
