The Dumfries and Galloway Carers Centre provides information, advice and support to people who care for someone who is ill or disabled. Services include welfare rights advice, signposting to other agencies, information about local services, coping strategies and a one-to-one listening ear. They also facilitate a monthly Carers Support Group and a Young Carers Project which provides individual and/or activity group support to young carers. Support is offered on an individual, group, drop-in and outreach basis.
