Type of service: Assessment, Nursery and pre-schools

If you think that your child is having some difficulties, you can approach the education authority for advice. The authority may wish to carry out a full assessment. Glasgow Education Service has two Pre5 assessment centres who may offer a multi-agency assessment for children whose language and communication development is causing concern. Access to this service would be by referral from educational, community or health services.
