Type of service: Interventions and therapies

I am an early years autism specialist providing support, advice and play based teaching sessions for children aged 2 - 5 years in their home.

I use an holistic play based approach and create tailor made programmes for the children I work with.

I am trained in various interventions including, Intensive Interaction, TEACCH, Attention Autism, developing play skills, PECS, providing strategies for self care and sensory processing difficulties.

I believe children should be involved actively in their own learning and that it is important to follow the child's lead.

Parents are involved in the play sessions and there will be lots of opportunities to try out new approaches and strategies such as use of visual supports, social stories.
