We provide community and neurodevelopmental services for children and young people across Blackburn with Darwen and East Lancashire (Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Burnley, Pendle and Rossendale). Our key specialist areas include: autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorders, clumsy children (including dyspraxia), neurodisability (neurological problems associated with disability), behaviour problems to exclude a medical cause.
Children can be seen in Child Development Centres at Reedley Hall (Burnley), Holly House (Accrington), Shadsworth Children's Centre and Livesey All Age Centre. They can also be seen in Community Paediatric and Neurodisability clinics at Royal Blackburn Hospital, Burnley General Hospital, Clitheroe Health Centre, Yarnspinners Health Centre (Nelson), St Peter's Health Centre (Burnley), Barbara Castle Way Health Centre, Darwen Health Centre, Rossendale Primary Care Health Centre. They can also be seen within special schools.
