Main information

Type of service: Residential schools, Schools

East Park School is a residential special school supporting children and young people with complex learning difficulties and additional disabilities. Education and support is individualised and person centred to provide a holistic 'package' based on need. Pupils are educated in groups with other pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or in mixed groups. Support is provided 24 hours a day, all year round. Most of the accommodation is now provided in community houses in residential areas with 4 or 5 young people living in each house. The houses are purpose built to high specifications for people with disabilities and are therefore fully accessible. Volunteers to work with the pupils may be accepted.
