This is a junior school with three form entry and special needs support unit for 22 pupils. The children with a unit placement are included in the mainstream classes wherever possible. For some this is full time inclusion with special needs teacher / assistant support; for others it is part of a selection of lessons, with a range between. The ethos of the school supports inclusion of children with autism. Pupils are educated in groups with other pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), in mixed groups or in mainstream classes. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
