Ellsworth House supports eight individuals with learning disabilities and additional complex support needs including people on the autistm spectrum. The main house offers six spacious en-suite bedrooms. There are two additional self-contained apartments on site for those requiring or desiring a more independent lifestyle. We have a common goal to enable individuals to lead an active and inclusive life within the local and the wider community. The skilled support team are recruited from the local community, they use their knowledge and networks to enhance the life experiences of the peoplethey support. The service benefits from a large lounge with an attached activity area, a kitchen and a separate dining area. Ellsworth House also offers a sensory room where individuals can relax in a quiet atmosphere. The service's landscaped gardens feature a summer house and offer further space for individuals to enjoy. Individuals enjoy a range of volunteer work opportunities and are also supported to seek full time employment in the local community. Ellsworth has its own transport and support staff place a strong emphasis on assisting people to use the nearby public transport links to further their independence.
