The name of the unit for children with an autistic spectrum disorder is the Additional Resources Base for children with ASD. We have a 12 place Base for children aged between rising 5 and 7 years old. Children receive focused teaching and specific speech and language therapy sessions. Children are educated both in the ASD Base and where appropriate included in mainstream teaching sessions. All resources available in the school can be accessed by the Base - eg ICT suite, cookery room, early years play equipment and school field.
