Offers support, advocacy, advice and information to people with disabilities and their families in Wigan and Leigh. Embrace has a dedicated Community Fieldworker who can work with you on an individual basis to offer advocacy, advice and signposting in all aspects of your caring role. Our 'Equip for Life' individual grant application fund is open to our members who are in desperate need of accessible equipment. Our Futures is a model of support for families with a disabled relative. It promotes planning for the future and supports people with disabilities to be full citizens. If you have a recently diagnosed child with a disability and if you would like to get in touch with a parent who has been through the same process as you, we can signpost you to a befriending service called Face2Face.
