Type of service: Employment services

Employment Plus supports people with a learning disability and or autism into paid employment. If you are 18 years or above (no upper age limit), live in Dudley and are known to Adult Social Care or Health through Learning Disability or Autism Support Services, we may be able to support you: .

• to look for a job
• to achieve recognised qualifications
• to gain work experience once you are in paid employment

Support for Employers: We link with employers too and are happy to help with recruiting/job matching and with supporting a job seeker into a job vacancy. We support with job carving - that is looking at roles that would support your business and take work pressure off other staff members within the team. We work alongside the new employee and help simplify systems to promote more independent working. Support for Families and Support Workers: We support with travel training, with information how benefits may be affected if gaining paid employment, support with work ethics, etc. .
