Type of service: Domiciliary services, Supported living schemes
Enable UK is a 'People First' organisation with a strong philosophy of working in partnership with service users, communities and stakeholders. We have services called The Firs and Mayfield Road, and ensure that our values are embedded within our service, that everyone is committed to delivering a quality service. We are confident that we deliver services that actively adhere to our governing principles of independence, involvement and choice, ensuring that service users are at the heart of their individual packages. Through person centred planning all services and support will be tailored to each person's needs including social, educational, vocational, financial, health and wellbeing, recreational and leisure activities, learn and develop, and this can be enhanced by ensuring people have access to their community and to mainstream resources. Enable UK has a policy of promoting the maintenance of Service Users' normal social network and social activities. The Service User's Care Plan includes a facility for recording life history, social networks and contacts, and preferences for activities and hobbies in order that the Service User is offered access to those networks and activities which are appropriate and desired. We receive services from a range of sources from professional referrals to self referrals and welcome all referrals from family and carers.
