We are a charity based in Taunton, Somerset supporting children with disabilities, their siblings, parents and carers. Our children and young people, aged 0-17 years, have varying degrees and types of disability, including physical, learning, behavioural and communication needs. We aim to extend opportunities and support to families to enable them to participate in activities and events as a family unit. We encompass most needs regardless of whether a diagnosis has been obtained or not. At least 60% of our membership comes from families living with autism in its various guises. Our activities boost morale, increase confidence, improve social skills, minimise behavioural difficulties and develop and strengthen friendships. We swim weekly, go on lovely day trips across the south west and beyond, enjoy theatre visits and hold events specific to our carers and our under 12's. All that we do is subsidised by our charity therefore always representing value for money..
