The name of the unit for pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the Opportunity Base. Small, one-form entry primary school with special unit for 42 children with ASD. Children are taught in 4 unit classes with 1 teacher and 3 special needs support assistants. The ratio is now 1:3 teachers to children. There is an onsite speech and learning therapist and onsite occupational therapist. The school offers drama therapy, yoga and swimming.
