Gosden House School is for children with moderate learning difficulties and language disorder including some children with social communication disorder in the milder range. It caters for boys from 4 to 11 and girls from 4 to 16. It is a day school and a weekly boarding school. Gosden House is set in 44 acres of land and has good indoor and outdoor resources for teaching. The school is divided into a primary and secondary department and all National Curriculum subjects are taught in both. There is particular emphasis on creative arts. There is a dance studio and all pupils take part in drama lessons. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils (parent helpers plus others).
