Located in the village of Earls Colne, Grammar School provides accommodation for individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. Its specialism is in supporting people with Autism Spectrum Conditions, epilepsy and physical disabilities.

Grammar School consists of two buildings namely, the Old School and the adjoining Annexe. The Old School consists of seven bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, separate lounge and a bathroom with a parker bath. The Annexe provides five bedrooms, wet room, separate kitchen and a lounge diner. There is a separate sensory room located in the beautiful, large garden which is filled with mature fruit trees. Throughout the year people supported at Grammar School enjoy a range of outdoor activities, and barbeques are a particular favourite during the summer months. Grammar School is situated between the towns of Colchester and Halstead, offering easy access to a number of facilities, including the local swimming pool and community colleges. The service has two minibuses that are used for day trips or visits, ensuring everyone is able to engage in community life as much or as little as they wish.
