Grange House provides support for up to five adults with autism and a learning disability. Appropriate support is identified by a persons care plan with opportunities to attend an adult learning education college or day care centre to maximise potential and enhance quality of life. There are also opportunities to take part in activities such as visits to the park, restaurants, shopping, cinema, the mosque, church club, swimming and bowling. Short break holidays are also available. The aim of the activities is to promote community integration and build on personal social skills. Individuals are invited to attend meetings to voice their interests or concerns and to suggest any changes that they wish to happen. This helps with personal development and a feeling of well being.
