Grantham Autistic Information Network (GAIN) was set up in April 2006 for parents/carers of children with autism. The group offers support and meets on the third Monday of each month from 10am-12pm at Belton Lane Children's and Community Centre offering information, friendship and guidance to the relevant professionals and encouraging friendships within the group. We host a variety of events throughout the year in the Grantham area: Cinema - at Savoy Grantham in St Catherine's Road. We try to make them autism friendly. (Also Lincoln and Stamford); Pub nights - these are currently held at the White Lion pub on Bridge End Road. Ask for Paul, our GAIN representative, at the bar; Christmas party - a popular event at Grantham Bowl, in recent years;' and A range of one-off and occasional events eg crazy golf, karting, quad biking and laser tag.
