Gretton School is a specialised provision for children and young people who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum conditions (ASCs), including high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome. Gretton provides education and care for children and young people aged 5-19 years by focusing on their specific needs, capabilities and aspirations. Gretton School provides a curriculum alongside appropriate social and leisure activities. Gretton values the contribution each child and young person brings to the life of the school and has a philosophy of continuously recognising and reinforcing achievement. Priority is given to providing an appropriate learning environment and curriculum in which creativity, independence and acquisition of learning skills thrive. Gretton provides a safe environment, high staff ratios and an experienced multi-disciplinary team. It also has a commitment to work in partnership with parents and other professionals. The school provides day and weekly boarding places for pupils aged 5-19 years.
