Gwenllian Education Centre is an Independent Autism Specialist School in Carmarthenshire, South Wales. They provide school placements to children and young adults between 7 and 19 years old with a diagnosis of autism or a related condition. Placements are available to families resident in Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Neath-Port Talbot, Pembrokeshire and other neighbouring authorities. Gwenllian Education Centre provides modern facilities, latest technologies, excellent resources and generous spaces within a safe and secure environment. Their highly qualified and experienced staff provide a meaningful and relevant school curriculum where children are motivated to learn and interact. They specialise in educating students who exhibit complex behaviour and provide the specialist support required to ensure that students progress and recognise the effort and determination invested by the students to achieve their potential. Their specialist areas include developing cooperation, communication and independence. Working closely with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals they develop individualised learning plans that are tailored to the needs of their students.

Expression of interest for joint placements with authorities and professional organisations welcome. Curriculum is based on the principles of ABA and Verbal Behaviour.
