Gwynedd and Anglesey Asperger/Autism Support Group

The Group was formed to give support to children and adults with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), their families and carers. Membership of the Group costs £5 per annum per family. A monthly meeting for parents and carers provides an opportunity to share experiences and on occasions listen to speakers on the condition. These meetings are open to all who have an interest in the Group.
The Group also arranges activities which are open to members only.
The group provides: .

  • Clwb Sbectrwm, a group for 5-11 year olds in Bangor.
  • A youth group for 11-18 year olds meeting on Friday evenings in Llangefni.
  • A social group for adults with Asperger syndrome/ high functioning autism, meeting monthly in Bangor.
  • Swimming lessons, outdoor activities in school summer holidays and social activities.
