Halifax Drive
Main information
Type of service: Residential services
Based in Leicester, Halifax Drive provides support for 33 adults from the age of 18 years with learning disabilities and associated behavioural and mental health problems. Some of the people we support also have communication difficulties or present behaviours that challenge, and predominately have dual diagnosis, as well as a range of other disabilities such as epilepsy or Down's syndrome. Our approach to support: Halifax Drive offers long term care and support as well as short break opportunities for individuals. Our staff members are passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of the people we support by building positive outcomes for everyone. The service is also supported by a quality assurance team whose aim is to empower people to take control of their lives, and where possible, work towards a level of independence which fits with their skills, confidence and aspirations.
