The service provides assessment of the child's communication needs, working with the Verbal Behaviour - Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) where applicable; Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) training for staff and families; teaching of communication, daily living skills, social skills, challenging behaviour management, academic skills; and a teaching programme specifically tailored to the needs and abilities of the child, which is regularly monitored. She can provide independent expert reports and make visits to a child's nursery or school.
