Hansel and Gretel Support Group are a registered charity providing mutual support and friendship to disabled and special needs children and their families in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire (Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport etc). We provide the opportunity for families to meet together and share ideas and experiences, build friendships and overcome isolation. We aim to provide opportunities which will enable parents / carers, children with special needs, siblings and extended family members to: - Meet informally - Develop friendships - Support one another - Enjoy activities which may not otherwise be available to them - Influence local services and SEN provision. We have a Saturday Family Club held between 10am - 12pm on the second Saturday of each month at Wye Forest School (formerly Blakebrook School). (All family members / carers welcome), Coffee Mornings, usually held monthly at Sainsbury's cafeteria in Kidderminster, Family Swim Sessions, at Franche School Pool (hoist and changing table available), Wyre Forest Walks and visits to Snoezelen Multi-Sensory Centre - Worcester.
