Happy Futures Support Specialists

Main information

Type of service: Supported living schemes

Happy Futures promote independence, rights, choice and inclusion. The personalisation agenda is about planning for and getting the life you want and at Happy Futures we support individuals to work towards achieving this from the initial assessment stage right through to supporting the individuals in Happy Futures services and when they want to move on. Happy Futures believe as a company that all of our support is outcome based and packages of support should reflect the changing needs of the people we support. Therefore we will continually assess and review support delivered and reduce or increase the support in accordance with the needs of the individual. We can offer support to individuals with mild, moderate, severe and profound disabilities. Happy Futures provide support to adults and children with autism, Asperger syndrome, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Sensory Processing Disorders and other related disabilities. At Happy Futures we use augmentative and alternative communication methods to supplement or replace speech or writing. These include: Makaton; Pictorial exchange communication symbols; Pictures; and Photographs.
