The Haven Autism Team for Children (HATCH) team is made up of multidisciplinary team of specialist Paediatric Neuropsychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and specialist Special Educational Needs COordinators SENCOs. We also have Specialist Nursing and Educational Psychology support, who can provide consultation. Please note we recommend referral with the support of your child's Paediatrician, or Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Psychiatrist. This is so that your assessment is recognised by the statutory services around your child. We are mainly a children's service, but we will see some adults on a case-by case basis. The diagnostic tools we use are: Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-II), Developmental, Dimensional and Diagnostic Interview (3DI) & Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children-Fifth Edition (WISC-V), Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV), Delis-Kaplan Executive Function System (D-KEFS), A Developmental NEuroPSYchological Assessment-Second Edition (NEPSY-II), Children's Communication Checklist (CCC-2), Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals-Fifth Edition (CELF-5), Repeatable Battery for the Assessment of Neuropsychological Status-Second Edition (RBANS-II) and Adaptive Behavior Assessment System-Third Edition (ABAS-3)..
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Clinical Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Occupational Therapy, Paediatric Neuropsychology, Special Educational Needs COordinator (SENCO) and Educational Psychology.
