Healthlinc House is a 43-bed hospital that provides care home and treatment services for patients with a learning disability and can detain patients or cater for those who require locked rehabilitation. Healthlinc House offers a specialist rehabilitation service for men and women with a learning disability and co-morbid conditions such as personality disorder, mental health problems and autistic spectrum conditions. The unit is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team of nurses and support workers. Care is provided in a range of small, gender-specific apartments to allow the rehabilitation programme to be delivered in a domestic environment replicating community living more closely than a ward environment.
