We are a mainstream secondary school that has a small provision for students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) (currently 4 in year 7). The students are for the best part educated in provision classes but do join mainstream classes for some sessions. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The school uses the Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL) framework. We are a small provision catering for 25 young people from years 7-11 with autism and associated learning difficulties.
