This is a private autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnostic service for children and adolescents aged 5-19 years. We use validated tools of 3Di and Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) as part of the comprehensive four session assessment..
Assessment procedure: Four sessions which will involve the child and parents and include formal testing, using validated assessment tools.(3Di and ADOS, WISC when needed). At the end of this a formal report will be produced, outlining diagnosis, areas of strengths and difficulties, identification of needs and recommendations. We will be able to diagnose any comorbid disorders, and parents will be signposted to appropriate local services.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes. Psychiatry; Associate Specialist Doctor Educational Psychologist.
