Offers support to parents and carers, living in Alnwick, Berwick and the Scottish Borders, of children whose disability is not always visible and have a wide range of special needs. Mainly for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders but also ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, asthma and diabetes, amongst others. Meets at 6:30pm - 8:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month at Mitchell Memorial Hall, Kiln Hill, Tweedmouth. Also provides social events and trips for children and their siblings. A drop-in for parents and carers of children who have a disability, whether an autism spectrum disorder, learning, physical or sensory disability. The group meets in the Family room at Spittal First School on Main Street in Spittal, on Thursday mornings between 10am and midday. Parents and carers benefit from mutual support and sometimes speakers are invited along.
