Hillingdon Manor School is an independent day school offering provision for pupils with Asperger syndrome, high functioning autism and/or semantic-pragmatic disorder. There are also places for pupils with Pathological Demand Avoidance syndrome (PDA). Staff work alongside pupils within a positive environment. The school aims to provide the experience of success, which will work towards facilitating appropriate levels of integration in to the mainstream. The school provides a curriculum of connective education which will give opportunities for pupils to make connections and gather meaning that will allow them to progress both in and out of school. The school promotes the use of a consistent language focused environment which addresses the triad of impairments. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
