Hillside supports 16 people with learning disabilities. The staff team at Hillside is extremely stable, with many staff having worked there for 15-20 years. Staff have particular experience in supporting people with epilepsy, Downs syndrome, autism and Aspergers syndrome. The home benefits from being a long-established part of the local community. The residents are well-known and use local services, such as shops and pubs, regularly. Being centrally located, the home offers superb access to all the museums, shops and entertainment of the city centre. It is near several bus routes, and has a local Doctors' Surgery, Dentist and Optician, as well as Kingsdown Sports Centre for fitness.
