Hywel Dda Autistic Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic Service is part of the All Wales Autistic Spectrum Disorder Diagnostic and Pre/Post Counselling network for Adults. Hywel Dda UHB provides health services accross Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. The local diagnostic pathway for adults reflects the All Wales guidance. There are three stages within the diagnostic pathway following referral; Pre-diagnostic counselling, diagnostic assessment, and post-diagnostic counselling and signposting.
Follow up service: Post diagnostic counselling and signposting.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes, professions involved: clinical psychology, psychiatry, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, specialist nurse.
