Include is a short-term tenancy support service for adults with autism and asperger syndrome. Include offers housing-related support to tenants and homeowners who have Autism/Asperger syndrome aged 16 and over, who need support to live independently within Nottingham City. The service can offer support to: apply for housing and set up home; help maintain tenancies; access welfare benefits and complete forms; help with understanding housing rights and responsibilities; advice and guidance around debts; develop budgeting and household management skills; developing life skills; identify education, training and employment opportunties; access leisure opportunities and become more involved in local your community; access and engage with relevant health services; deal with problems with neighbours. Include is a short term service of 18 months with clients accessing half-an-hour to 4.5 hours of support a week depending on the person's needs. Referrals are accepted from agencies, family, friends and self-referrals. The service is delivered by Metropolitan.
