ILEAP - Inclusive Leisure Education Activities Project

Main information

ILEAP is a registered Charity operating in South Warwickshire. Our aim is to include disabled people aged 4 years and over into leisure activities of their choice. ILEAP targets people with a mild / moderate learning disability although anybody can join if they think the project will benefit them. ILEAP run an annual programme of clubs, youth groups and holiday provision aimed at building confidence and raising self esteem and promoting independence. These small group sessions give our members the opportunity to meet up with their friends old and new and take part in well structured and well resourced activities. All of the activities take place in the local community which helps to raise awareness of disability and faciliate social change. Our team of Youth Workers, Support Friends and Volunteers assist our members in their chosen activities and offer friendship, encouragement and support.
