Lancashire based counselling and supervision service. Jan has welcomed autistic clients since her practice began in 2002 and since 2014 has provided therapy for autistic individuals and families exclusively. She offers counselling to individuals with or without a diagnosis of autism and also welcomes parents, partners, siblings and carers. Jan can provide expert reports and offers supervision to counsellors and health professionals working with autistic individuals.In addition to her private practice, Jan is a founding member of the charity Understanding Autism North West, which provides therapeutic services to the autism community.

Common issues that can be addressed in counselling include: understanding the diagnosis, anxiety, depression, obsessional behaviour, relaxation techniques, anger management, relationship difficulties and mental health issues..
