Jigsaw Occupational Therapy Limited is a specialist provider for children and young people living in the South East of England. Their dedicated assessment and sensory integration therapy centre is the first and only one of its kind in Sussex. Jigsaw Occupational Therapy was founded in order to offer more effective and personalised assessment and therapy specifically designed around each individual child and young person's needs. They work with children and young people experiencing a wide array of profound and multiple disabilities. Some of these conditions include; cerebral palsy, autism and Aspergers syndrome, sensory processing disorders, acquired brain injuries, motor coordination difficulties and learning disabilities. Their Sensory integration therapy is designed to help children and young people develop their sensory processing abilities and to develop strategies to help them cope. Each child's and/or young person's sensory difficulties are assessed and then a personalised treatment programme is developed using the most appropriate techniques and tools to overcome those difficulties. Assessments provide a plan of action for those with sensory integration difficulties. The assessments highlight areas of difficulties, whilst also providing an insight into what is causing the observed challenges and will ultimately provide strategies and recommendations. Jigsaw Occupational Therapy Ltd can also make home visits, visit a client's nursery, school or college, provide independent expert reports and attend tribunals or educational appeal committees. Member of Health Care Professions Council (HCPC), College of Occupational Therapists (COT) and Sensory Integration Network UK and Ireland.
