Assessment procedure: Home visit and/or school visit (as appropriate), collation of information from other professionals, semi-structured interview (or DISCO in some circumstances), play, formal assessment and detailed report.
Follow up service: Review after report seen and further reviews if medical status alters, referral to ASD outreach service.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes, professions involved: Paediatrics, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy/music therapy, specialist health visitor.
