Keys for Learning

Main information

Type of service: Interventions and therapies

At Keys for Learning we specialise in working with children experiencing behavioural difficulties, autism and other developmental delays. We design individually tailored programmes to target the child's greatest needs. We use a range of techniques, underpinned by the evidence-based principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), to teach skills that are underdeveloped. Target areas include communication, play skills, social skills, adaptive living skills and school skills. We use the ABLLS (The Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills) to assess the child's skill level. We also use the VB Mapp as an assessment tool and curriculum guide for our programs. The staff are able to make home/school/nursery visits. They can also provide independent expert reports and attend tribunals/educational appeal committees. Keys for Learning are members of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABA International).
