Kingswode Hoe School

Kingswode Hoe is a special school catering for pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Many of our pupils have Asperger syndrome. They are educated within their appropriate year group in small classes with a high level of adult support. All pupils have a statement of special educational needs (SEN). Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. We have many student volunteers from the local Further Education (FE) sectors and from the National Health Service (NHS) sector. We cannot take casual volunteers. Another disability catered for by the school is speech and language delay. Other disabilities catered for by the school are Williams syndrome and Kleinfelter's syndrome.
