Type of service: Diagnostic services
Assessment: The procedure will always have a developmental history, using either the Diagnostic Interview for Social and Communication Disorders (DISCO) or Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) at it centre and can include all or some of the following, dependent on need: cognitive assessment; sensory processing; meaningful activity (occupational therapy); communication (speech and language therapy); and mental health (psychiatry). Kirkland Psychology Services offers court reports for children and adults across education, community care, forensic and mental capacity..
Follow up service: Depending on location e.g. individual therapy, family work, consultation.
Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes - professionals within this assessment are clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, speech and lanuage therapists and occupational therapists.
