Type of service: Day services

The service offers a variety of full-time and part-time day activity opportunities plus therapy support for adults with moderate to severe, profound and multiple and complex learning disabilities, including autism, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and Asperger syndrome. Activities include: Jewish life and learning; functional communication, literacy and numeracy; computer & information and computer technology (ICT); work experience and training; art; music; woodwork; gardening & horticulture; physical health & fitness; hot foil printing; food preparation; community access and inclusion; self care and independence; sensory experience and integration; and more. Individual programmes designed to suit personal needs and interests. All Kisharon's services follow an Orthodox Jewish ethos and admission criteria stipulate that service users must be Jewish.
