Kisimul School, The Old Vicarage is situated in a large Georgian Vicarage set in four acres of grounds in rural Lincolnshire, but within easy reach of the A1 and the main inter-city to London. The houses and school are well equipped including soft play, white room, heated indoor swimming pool, gym and adventure playground, catering for children aged 8 to 19 years with severe learning difficulties (SLD), autism, challenging behaviour and global development delay. Each pupil has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Individual Plan of Care. The staffing ratio is extremely high and all of the staff are trained to the appropriate level. The school provides residential care for up to 52 weeks per year and is committed to a non-aversive approach. It has a broad, balanced curriculum including a modified National Curriculum.
