Provides respite and day care for children and young adults with additional support needs. Young people are helped to make the best use of their stay at Laburnum, whether through play, domestic or social activities or discussions. Those who use Laburnum have the opportunity to go on outings in the car (which is wheelchair accessible), or for walks, swimming or other activities in which they are interested. Referrals are through the local authority social work department.
