Type of service: Play and leisure

Provides support for people aged 3-19 with disabilities to access mainstream social and leisure activities. The scheme supports community based sessions and individual activities, which have been set up to meet needs identified through consultation with both the children, young people and their parents and carers. Activities include multi-sports sessions, bowling, pottery, water fun sessions, lunch and leisure group, sensory sessions, sunday club and walking group. Leisure for All is Funded by Aiming High and is managed by the Children with Complex Needs Team, CYPS. Children do not have to meet the borough’s criteria for the Children with Complex Needs Team to access the service. Anybody can refer a young person to the service, including the young person themselves.
