Gullivers is a specialist residential service for young people with autism, learning disabilities and associated complex needs including challenging behaviours. Service users are supported to develop person centred plans and health action plans that are adapted to reflect each young person's health, social and communication needs. Support packages are regularly reviewed and take into account racial, religious, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The service has strong links with local services so that young people are fully integrated into community life with a focus on early intervention. The team works in partnership with families, carers, advocates and public service professionals to ensure that the support provided is pro-active and appropriate.
