Linfield Group
Main information
Type of service: Residential services, Supported living schemes
Linfield provides person centred support to adults with autism and learning disabilities. We provide a 360 degree pathway of services from transitional residential care in a purpose designed service for 7 people, enabling them to stay for 2 years to devleop the skills required to live more independently. We also provide supported living, community support etc.
Staff receive training on understanding autism and we use TEACCH approaches to support service users understanding and engagement. We deliver BILD accredited MAPA training so that staff better understand how to interpret and redirect service users' behaviour to prevent escalations that become challenging.
Our residential service also delivers the ASDAN programme Towards Independence so that people can build a porrtfolio of evidence of their learning. Where service users are able we are able to offer higher level ASDAN Units. As we are committed to life long learning for all staff and service users all of the services we deliver are outcome focussed.
