Liverpool Autistic Children's Alliance
Main information
Type of service: Local groups
Our support group meets on the first Friday of every month 10am in Old Swan, Liverpool. We offer friendship, support, the sharing of ideas, difficulties and concerns, and we help to reduce isolation. We discuss current ASD issues and local campaigning to improve services, along with giving parents opportunities to talk to other parents who completely understand the difficulties and concerns that we all face in supporting our children. Part of our aim is to help to empower parents and carers and encourage them to feel confident in supporting their child, both in the home environment and educationally. We also plan to create social opportunities and fun activities for autistic children and their families including days out, social events and parties etc.
