Long Furrows has 13 bedrooms (12 single, 1 twin bed), most with en-suite. 2 bedrooms are ground floor, with the remainder being upstairs, accessible by a lift. There are 2 bathrooms, one on each floor, and an upstairs shower room. All bedrooms, wcs and bathrooms have a personal alarm and call bell. Social rooms comprise 2 lounges, a conservatory and a dining room. There is a multi-sensory stimulation room and a computer room. The home has 2 acres of gardens. Opportunities are provided for community access, such as church services, local amenities, concert halls, cinemas, college courses, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Open or supported employment is encouraged. Activities available in the home include arts and crafts, multi-sensory stimulation, personal awareness, playing games, sing-along, computer skills, music (live entertainment), community skills, videos, aromatherapy/massage, domestic skills, horticulture and going for walks.
