This newly developed and refurbished house provides en-suite facilities for each individual. Sport is offered to people with complex needs often including people who have had a history of institutionalisation, proactive and nurturing support will be available from strong and experienced staff team. Effective support and health action plans will be implemented within the home working in close partnership with other professionals and involved relatives. The focus will be on ensuring people are encouraged to manage emotions effectively and there is also a focus on maximising communication. Residents will be supported at their own pace to build upon existing skills and develop new skills. It is anticipated that people living within the house will have experienced years of institutionalisation or have had previous failed placements. The house itself is close to Epsom town centre and there is easy access to the M25 and rail networks. The home is in a quiet residential road close to the Epsom Downs. Within the area there is good access to local resources including specialist college facilities.
